/ Overlay
HUC overlay.
A web overlay for Heroes of Might and Magic 3 streamers. Shows the current game from the HotA lobby live: nicknames, ratings, template, bidding, heroes, factions. Nothing to download — enter your nickname, set up the overlay and add the link to OBS.
/ Configurator
The configurator is available only to logged-in users. Log in to set up your overlay and get a link for OBS.
Log in- The overlay connects to the HotA lobby (via hotameta.com).
- The overlay updates itself in real time: outside a game it shows your nickname and rating, and as soon as you create a game in the lobby or join someone else’s, it fills in with your opponent’s data, the template, bidding and picks.
- All you need is your lobby nickname. Works on any system.
- The page background is transparent, so only the overlay itself is visible on stream.
- In the configurator above, enter your lobby nickname, set up the overlay and copy the generated link.
- In OBS: Sources → + → Browser, paste the link into the URL field.
- Set the width to 1200 and the height to 120.
- Enable Shutdown source when not visible — so the connection doesn’t hang around when the scene is hidden.
- Place the overlay wherever you like.
- The overlay doesn’t disappear between games: a dash shows instead of the opponent, and heroes and factions are empty.
- Lobby data updates with a delay of up to a minute after the game starts.
- The overlay keeps evolving.
The previous version of the overlay is still available — a desktop app for Windows (v1.4.0).
In auto mode the overlay pulls data from the HotA lobby by your nickname, and in manual mode you fill everything in yourself.
