Terms of Use.

Effective from September 25, 2026.

This is a translation. In case of any discrepancy, the Ukrainian version prevails.

By signing up for or using the huc.com.ua website, you agree to these terms and to the Privacy Policy. If you do not accept the terms, do not use the site.

HUC (Heroic United Community) is a non-commercial Ukrainian-speaking community around Heroes of Might and Magic 3 and Warcraft 3. The site provides:

• —Community news, an events calendar (broadcasts of tournament matches and show matches with casters), custom map contests and site search.
• —Broadcasts and recordings of the team’s streamers (Twitch, YouTube, clips) and stream statistics.
• —The player rating, the Hall of Champions, the list of members and public profiles.
• —Account registration and management of your own profile.
• —Comments, reactions, rating other users (karma), notifications.
• —An application for the Player role linked to a hotameta.com profile and an application for the tournament organizer role.
• —Tournaments: creation, participant registration, brackets and match results.
• —A template database; for registered users — player comparison (on a separate page and on tournament event pages); for the Player, VIP and Admin roles — also viewing the statistics of any player from hotameta.com.
• —Tools for streamers: a web overlay for OBS and information about the “Heroic Companion” extension.
• —A feedback form and administrative features for authorized roles (Writer, Admin).

• —You must be at least 13 years old. By signing up, you confirm this.
• —One account per person.
• —Email and nickname must be unique.
• —You are responsible for keeping your password safe. Do not share it with others.
• —Your nickname must not infringe the rights of others, impersonate a well-known person or contain offensive language.

• —Chat, discuss games, share experience, strategies and templates.
• —Publish your in-game nickname and get a rating and statistics via synchronization with hotameta.com (for the Player role).
• —React to news and comments, rate other users through karma.
• —Take part in tournaments and, once your organizer application is approved, create and run your own.
• —Use the overlay for your streams.
• —Follow streamers via external platforms (Twitch, YouTube).

• —Insults, discrimination, hate speech, threats against other members.
• —Any pro-Russian propaganda, justification of the war against Ukraine, displaying the aggressor’s symbols.
• —Spam, advertising without the administration’s approval.
• —Disinformation about tournaments, games or other community members.
• —Impersonating another person, including the HUC administration; using someone else’s lobby name in an application, the overlay or a tournament.
• —Manipulating tournament results: submitting false scores, forged recordings or save files, colluding on the outcome.
• —Uploading illegal content, 18+ content and malicious files.
• —Attempts to bypass security, automated scraping of the site, exploiting vulnerabilities.
• —Creating multiple accounts or “ghost” records to inflate reactions, karma, comments or tournament spots.

Comments, avatar, “about me” text, news and templates (for the relevant roles), tournament descriptions and covers, links to recordings and save files, images for applications — this is content you create. You remain its author. By posting this content on HUC, you grant us a non-exclusive, free and revocable license to display it within the service — to the extent necessary for the site to operate.

The administration may delete or hide any content that violates these terms without notice. Deleted comments are hidden but remain in the database for moderation purposes.

• —Tournaments are created by users with an approved organizer application. The organizer is responsible for the rules, running the tournament, communication with participants and prizes (if any). HUC provides the tools but is not the organizer of such tournaments.
• —Members with the Player role can register. By registering, you undertake to play personally under your own lobby name and to follow the rules.
• —Participant lists, brackets, scores, technical defeats and links to recordings are public.
• —The organizer’s decisions on results and technical defeats are final within the tournament. In disputed cases, you can contact the HUC administration, which may intervene at its own discretion.
• —Whoever adds a “ghost” participant (a player without a HUC account) to a tournament is responsible for the correctness of their nickname and lobby name.
• —The administration may reject, cancel or remove from the site a tournament that violates these terms.

• —Heroes of Might and Magic III, Warcraft 3 and other games mentioned are the property of their respective rights holders (Ubisoft, Blizzard). HotA is a separate fan project of its authors.
• —The HUC logo, design, texts and code belong to the HUC team.
• —Content of streamers and authors of news and templates belongs to the authors themselves. HUC only aggregates links and public information.
• —“Heroic Companion” is a separate open-source project of its author; HUC is not its developer and only provides information about it.

By applying for the Player role, you confirm that the lobby name you provide belongs to you. Statistics and match history are pulled from hotameta.com automatically and shown publicly in the rating and profile, and to registered users also in the player comparison, including on tournament event pages — HUC is not responsible for their accuracy or availability. If someone impersonates you, contact the administration.

The overlay is a free tool provided “as is”. It shows data from the HotA lobby via hotameta.com; delays, errors or unavailability of this data are beyond our control. Use only your own lobby name. We may change the look and features of the overlay without notice.

“Heroic Companion” is a third-party Twitch extension. By installing it, you accept the terms of its author and of Twitch; questions about how it works should go to its author.

The site links to the official HUC jar at monobank — the funds from it go to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. We show the fundraiser progress and the top donors: names are taken from the jar statement in shortened form together with the amount, anonymous donations remain anonymous. By donating with your name, you agree to this display; you can ask for it to be hidden via “Feedback”.

Streams take place on Twitch and YouTube — these platforms are not controlled by HUC, and donations during streams are a separate arrangement between the viewer and the streamer.

The Writer and Admin roles can moderate content; organizers can manage their own tournaments. The administration resolves disputes at its own discretion. In case of a serious violation of these terms, an account may be blocked without notice. Blocking is not deletion: the data remains in the database so that access can be restored in case of an appeal.

We do our best to keep the site running smoothly, but we do not guarantee full availability, the absence of errors, or that third-party services (Twitch, YouTube, hotameta.com, monobank, etc.) will always be available. HUC is not responsible for:

• —Temporary unavailability of the service or scheduled maintenance.
• —Actions of other users and tournament organizers and the content they post.
• —The accuracy of statistics and data obtained from third-party sources.
• —Losses arising from the use of the site, the overlay or third-party tools we provide information about.
• —Content of third-party platforms that links lead to.

These terms may be updated. The current version is always here, with the effective date at the top of the page. If you do not agree with the changes, stop using the site.

These terms are governed by the laws of Ukraine. Disputes that could not be resolved through negotiation are handled in accordance with applicable law.
